thank you raziah! firstly, sorry it took so long for me to respond. secondly, OMG the very same day you posted this question, i had brunch with a friend of mine who asked me if i had captured that very same water tower rose you just asked about!! naturally, we drove out there to check… it’s been painted over :(
(that coincidence is still amazing me)
the hwy 84 water tower rose sounds like it had a very interesting history! my friend’s mom (and oregon history buff) said that a naturopathy school in the neighborhood used to paint it and re-paint it, guerilla style. if you know any more about this i would LOVE to hear!
this project had been put on the back-burner for a while, but the fire is lit again so please stay tuned for updates!
